It’s June, and that means that Summer has already started in Chicago! “Summer is one of those seasons where everything is sunny and more positive around us. Being in the business world and always in a fast-paced environment, it’s great just to enjoy the sun and relax once in a while. Chicago is jam-packed with an immense amount of activities and festivals to attend during your free time,” mentions Ryan Pearson, managing director of DAP Acquisitions. According to HuffPost’s article “Summer Health Benefits: 5 Great Reasons To Love The Season, ” the writer discusses various benefits of this wonderful season. Anyone that is a Chicago native or even a tourist visiting Chicago notices just how lively Summer gets in Chicago. “Nobody does it better, to be honest, we look forward to Summer every year,” says Ryan Pearson, managing director of DAP Acquisitions.
Studies have shown that this specific season has a knack for making sure we stay healthier. The HuffPost article writes “Speaking of heart problems: In 2012, researchers noted a significant difference in heart attack survival rates during the winter and the summer. “People are 26 to 36 percent more likely to die in winter from a heart attack, a stroke, heart failure or some other circulatory disease,” the study’s lead author told NBC.” Aside from the literal facts, there also a wonderful vibe to enjoy as summer hits. “Vacations can be taken any time of the year. But there’s something about the summertime that makes it vacation friendly. Just visiting the beach on Chicago’s lakefront can improve your mood tremendously,” says Ryan Pearson of DAP Acquisitions.
Other studies have shown that having a balance between work and relaxation can increase productivity. There are various ways to unwind and enjoy the scenery around Chicago. There are always events going on in millennium park and food festivals just waiting to happen. On a more exciting and exciting note, Chicago’s very first Nutella Cafe opened on Michigan Ave last year! If this doesn’t describe unwinding and relaxing, we don’t know what does. We make sure all our representatives are healthy and balancing out their time to relax as well as make sure they work hard as well. We’re excited to see what this summer has in store for DAP Acquisitions and Chicago.
